This may seem like another obvious place, but your local library or bookstore offers a great resource to learn about marketing. Books are being published almost daily on the new marketing strategies and ideas. If you have the self discipline to teach yourself this is probably one of the easiest and best ways to learn marketing.
If you have a good idea of the type of employment you want and what the requirements for computer use will be, it will make it easier to know whether you need extensive training or just a little brush-up on your skills.
